Integrating the OpenAI API within Aptree's Course Content Builder enhances the course creation process by leveraging AI-generated questions. This feature allows authors to quickly generate and incorporate suggested questions into their course modules, improving content engagement and assessment.
If you are on the hosted version this is included. If you are self-hosting you will need to copy/paste your openai credentials to unlock this feature
Generating Suggested Questions
- Add Card: Within the module's content card builder, locate the "Add Card" button. Click on it to initiate the card creation process.
- Select OpenAI Integration Card: Choose the "OpenAI Integration Card" option from the available card types.
- Content Input: Paste the paragraph of content into the designated field. This content will be used to generate suggested questions.
- Generate Questions: Click the "Generate" button. The OpenAI API will process the content and provide you with a list of suggested questions.
Selecting and Inserting Questions
- Select Questions: Review the suggested questions provided by the OpenAI API. Choose the questions that align with your course content and objectives.
- Insert as Cards: For each selected question, click the "Insert as Card" button. This action will create separate content cards for each question within the module.
Editing Inserted Questions
- Edit Cards: Once the questions are inserted as cards, you can click on each card to edit the question text, formatting, and any additional details.
- Customization: Feel free to customize the questions to match your course's style and learning goals.
You will need to hit Refresh to see the inserted questions
