Configuring SMTP Credentials

SMTP Server Information:

  1. SMTP Host: Find the input field labeled "SMTP Host" or "SMTP Server." This is the address of your SMTP server, typically provided by your email service provider.
  2. SMTP Port: Input the appropriate port number for SMTP communication. Common values include 587 (TLS) or 465 (SSL).

SMTP Authentication:

  1. SMTP Username: Enter the username associated with your SMTP account. This is often your email address.
  2. SMTP Password: Input the password for your SMTP account.

SMTP Encryption:

  1. Encryption Type: Depending on your email service provider, choose either "SSL" or "TLS" for the encryption type.

Test and Save:

  1. Send Test Email: Many platforms offer a feature to send a test email to verify the SMTP configuration. Use this to ensure that emails are being sent successfully.
  2. Save Settings: After verifying the configuration, save the SMTP credentials to apply the setup.

Tips and Considerations:

  • Secure Credentials: Ensure that you store SMTP credentials securely and avoid sharing them openly.
  • SMTP Provider: Make sure you have an SMTP service provider, such as Gmail or SendGrid, that can be used for sending emails.
  • Email Limits: SMTP providers like GMAIL and other free services typically limit these emails to around 500 per day. If you are a larger organization signup for sendgrid, mailgun, or other paid service
