Adding New Users
Aptree offers two convenient methods for adding users to your platform: inviting them via email and uploading user information via a CSV
Aptree offers two convenient methods for adding users to your platform: inviting them via email and uploading user information via a CSV (Comma-Separated Values) file. Whether you're onboarding individual learners or managing a larger group, these methods provide flexibility and efficiency in user management.
Inviting Users via Email
- Access User Management: Once logged in, navigate to the user management section in the bottom of the left sidebar

Initiate User Invitation:
- Enter the email address of your new user
- Select their user role: Administrator, Editor, or Learner
Pending Invitation:
- Once a user is invited to the platform they will receive an email, until the confirm their membership they will be in the pending users list. You can easily resend an invitation or delete their invitation here.

Method 2: Uploading Users via CSV

Prepare the CSV File:
Download the attachment below (also available in the app)
Enter the list of email addresses in the appropriate column in the template and then upload the CSV. This will trigger invitation emails and add them to the pending list of users. By default all users will be assigned the learner role which can be changed later
Notes and Tips:
- Users invited via email will need to accept the invitation and create their accounts before accessing the platform.
- CSV uploads are useful for bulk user management, such as onboarding a large number of users simultaneously.
- Regularly update your user list to maintain an accurate record of active participants.
